Find Modifier: Finds modifiers in the scene by class. This script is quite old and I believe there are others out there that do the same and more.

It has some defaults added to a drop down list but you can type in your own. However, first you need to know the class name of the modifier that you are looking for.

This was a quick hack but it works.
