---Tutorials:
This is not yet a tutorial but just a file that I used for demonstration at GDC 2004 durring an Oregon 3D training class. I will one day try to find the time to write a tutorial around this file but for now you will just have to try and tear if apart.

Arm Twist Rig:

The purpose to this file is to show how to simulate the twisting of the forarm and upper arm in a human or bipedel character. It is nessesary to twist the arm along the length so that the mesh can be skinned to several bones. This will help prevent the mesh collapsing in on its self durring animation.

The basic principal is to add a bone in the forarm and upper arm and have them lookat the elbow. Then use the upvector of the lookat to control the twist.

The red bones are the twist bones. The yellow spline objects are the controls for the rig as is the blue spline object.

Rotate the hand and elbow to see the results of the arm twist solution.
